Oblique Partner Leg Touches - Jenna and Shannon
From Blue Wave Martial Arts and Fitness, this is Jenna and Shannon demonstrating a partner ab exercise called oblique partner leg touches. One partner will lie on the floor on your back. Your helper will stand over your head with their ankles tucked inside your arms, holding their ankles securely. Get started by raising your legs over to the side, and touching your toes on your partner's hand. You will lower your legs directly in the center, keeping your knees straight. Raise those straight legs slightly to the side where you can contact your partner's hand, working your obliques as well as your low abs. Visualize making a "V" with your leg movements. When trading partners, make sure that you spread your arms out and let your partner have room to step over you, then securely hold their ankles. Start lowering down your legs in the center and raise them up to the side, contacting with both feet at the same time on your partner's hand.
